SCPI is offering a free pre-conference session to kick off the 2026 South Carolina Council for Exceptional Children Conference! Join our session, "Using the Building Blocks Framework to Support Preschool Children in Inclusive Settings," on February 26 from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm!
Join us to explore the Building Blocks framework and evidence-based strategies to teach all young children in inclusive settings. We’ll focus on three types of practical, evidence-based inclusion strategies: curriculum modifications, embedded learning opportunities, and child-focused instructional strategies. Participants will receive a copy of Building Blocks for Teaching Young Children in Inclusive Settings, Fourth Edition, review the latest research that supports the Building Blocks model, explore processes for planning & assessment, and learn how to apply these strategies for the benefit of all children.
