What is the SEIT Academy?

The Special Education Itinerant Teacher (SEIT) Academy is a virtual continuing education series designed to promote and support the implementation of a special education itinerant model within early childhood programs as part of the continuum of services for preschool children with disabilities. Over the course of three months, a cohort of school district teams will explore the following topics:

Special Education itinerant teaching and instruction
Healthy skills to reduce challenging behavior in an inclusive setting
Coaching and consultation with community partners
Plus bonus content for administrators!

The Special Education Itinerant Teacher (SEIT) Academy

Who Should Apply?

The SEIT Academy is designed for School District Teams that include an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher and a District Administrator. Additional Team Members may hold some of the following positions within their school district:

General Education Teacher
Speech Language Pathologist
Behavior Specialist
School Psychologist
Other Service Provider Professionals

Implementation Support
